Symbol Mark
The symbol mark represents the image of the National Institute of Korean Medicine Development in every internal and external visual communication. It is required to use utmost caution not to alter the forms or colors of the marks. And, if the symbol is to be used, it is required to expand or shrink the data downloaded from the website of National Institute of Korean Medicine Development.
Toning down the color without authorization is not allowed
It is not allowed to Altering the designated colors for the symbol without authorization.
It is not allowed to use the market against a background of vivid contrast color.
It is not allowed to use the symbol if the aesthetic quality of it is compromised due to the background color.
It is not allowed to make arbitrary changes with the forms of the symbol.
It is not allowed to utilize the symbol as a line.
It is not allowed to use the mark on top of a complicated pattern.
It is not allowed to use the mark on a background image.
Prohibitions of Symbol Mark
The prohibitions in use are intended to control the symbol with care. It is required to use the symbol in its default form, as an arbitrary alteration of the forms or colors may compromise the identity of the symbol.
Signature
The signature is the official indication which is based on the combination of the symbol and logo types and used as the most direct expression of the National Institute of Korean Medicine Development. If the logo type and the symbol are used together, the combination shall be configured according to a certain set of rules. Therefore, it is not allowed make arbitrary changes with the ratio, location, and distance between the symbol mark and logo types of Korean or English signatures.

Logo type
The logo type is a representative image of the National Institute of Korean Medicine Development used in all visual communication. When using such a logo type, it is required to use the data downloaded from the website of the National Institute of Korean Medicine Development after simply expanding or shrinking it only.

Color System
The designated color are the core elements of the identity system in addition to the symbol, since these colors are chosen to best represent the image of the organization. If the designated colors are to be printed, it is required to use four principal colors process printing. However, it is still allowed to use spot color printing method.
