External expert review

External expert review of the KMCPGs

When developing CPGs, external expert reviews should be conducted using methods such as public hearings, opinion surveys, and user preliminary surveys. An external expert review is being conducted on CPGs as part of the Korean Medicine Innovative Technologies Development project through the formation of a diverse group of experts, consisting of disease experts, methodology experts, and policy experts, to improve the KMCPGs. In particular, the research advisory group reviews the appropriateness of the guideline development methodology and the clinical applicability of the recommendations, and the technical review group examines the methodological errors in the systematic review, the level of evidence, and the strength of the recommendation derivation process.
